GlobITpro

The EU-US Student Exchange Program in Global IT Project Management GlobITpro is an innovative, study abroad experience in the United States of America funded by the European Commission that prepares MCiT students to live and work in a global business world. As a student in the program, you will participate in classroom and extracurricular activities designed to help you develop a global mindset receptive to and respectful of cultural differences, global knowledge that includes an understanding of entrepreneurship and IT management and research, and global work skills that prepare you to work effectively across cultures.

Coursework emphasizes the vital role of information and communication technology in the world today, focusing on entrepreneurship, global collaboration, and IT management and research. You will strengthen your collaboration and teamwork skills by working in cross-cultural groups and virtual teams on special classroom projects, such as a joint business plan for an innovative IT project that could be marketed in both the USA and EU. You will tour the companies and factories of industry leaders, such as BMW, Volkswagen and SAP, as well as visit local sites that have cultural and historic significance.
